Air Canada pilots start using iPads on flights.

In an effort to reduce weight, minamize fuel consumption and in turn save money, Air Canada has bought all of it’s 3000 pilots iPads. Now these won’t be used to play candy crush or angry birds, no, they will hold important information such as company and aircraft information. This isn’t a new idea. A lot of American companies have been doing this for a few years in order to save on costs. On average, this move will save Air Canada 25kgs per aircraft. Does that mean we can bring an extra carry-on?
