OK, so I over indulged this weekend….. Don’t judge me! There were just so many chocolates, cookies, cake and don’t get started on the ham. Well it’s over now and I find myself wanting to get back on track. Bust out the blender and let’s get those Kale shakes going! I’m also going to show you the most efficive smartphone apps for assisting you in living a healthy life….. Unless it’s a holiday.

  • Daily Workout apps

These proven exercises, demonstrated by a certified personal trainer, target all major muscles. Spending just minutes a day can strengthen and tone your body.

  • sleep as Android

Alarm clock with sleep cycle tracker. Wakes you gently in light sleep for pleasant mornings. Features: sleep graph history, sleep deficit and deep sleep statistics, sharing (FaceBook, Twitter), nature alarms (birds, sea, storm…) with gradual volume up, alarm playlists from your music, lullabies for pleasant asleep, CAPTCHA to wake up on time, sleep talk or snoring recording and more… (2 weeks trial)
aka “Sleep as an Droid”

  • Endomondo

Endomondo is the highest rated app of its kind on Android and ideal for running, cycling, walking and any other distance-based activity. The reason I really like this app is that it combines the fun of social media with activities listed on the site. You can find people in your area and challenge them to a race whether it be distance or time based.
So the next time you decide to go for another piece of turkey, don`t beat yourself up! Remember that you have a smartphone full of healthy living apps. And if you`re anything like me, you don`t use any of them and just judge the people who haven`t even downloaded them! Lazy!
